Invoice module for WordPress

ePay offers a free module for payment of invoices via WordPress. 

It’s easy to install and use the module in WordPress. 

Download the ePay module, and follow the 4 simple steps below to get started.

1. Create an ePay account

To try the module you need a test account with ePay. A test account is free, and you can create it in just a few minutes. When you’ve created your account, you receive a merchant number which is used for test payments.

Please state that you want a test account in the comment field in step 2. You can disregard all listed prices.

When you’ve tried the module and are ready to accept real payments, ePay will upgrade your test account to a production account. This means you don’t have to create a new account.

2. Install ePay's invoice module in WordPress

NB! Make a backup of your website before beginning installation.

Download the module

Save the file to your hard drive, and unzip it.

Copy/paste the content to your WordPress installation.

Open your WordPress administration at http://yoururl/wp-admin, and log in. Choose Plugins in the menu on the left.

Find the ePay module, and press ‘Activate’. The module is installed, and you only need to configure the settings to use it.

3. Activate ePay's module in WordPress

Press the ’ePay’ button in the menu on the left, and choose ’ePay – Settings’.

Enter your merchant number in the field “Merchant number”. It is either a test or production merchant number, and you got it from ePay. Press ‘Save changes’ at the bottom of the page. 

Now press ‘Pages’ in the menu on the left, and choose ‘Add new’.

Insert the following in the editor (please see image 1):

[epay_payment]

Press ‘Publish’ on the right.


4. Test the module

Please make sure that the domain from which you’re testing is registered on your ePay account in Settings -> Payment system. If the domain is not registered, ePay cannot find the payment window and show it to your customers.

Go to your WordPress-administration, and choose the menu you just created. 

Fill in the fields, and press ‘Go to payment’ (see image 2).

Below you can see our payment window (see image 3). You can add your own logo and company information at the top of the window. Do this from the ePay administration in Settings -> Payment window.

The customers choose between all the payment methods that are active on your ePay account. When the customers have completed the payment (and closed the payment window), they are sent to a confirmation page.

When the payment is approved, this confirmation page is shown (see image 4).
